13. Wössner Halbmarathon 2026

On August 16, 2025, the Sportverein Unterwössen (SVU) e.V. invites runners of all ages to participate in the 13th Wössner Half Marathon and accompanying events at a picturesque location surrounded by the Chiemgauer Alps along the Tiroler Ache riverbank. The main attraction is the half marathon course that covers 21 kilometers through mostly flat terrain with more than 40% of it winding through soothing forest paths and woodland trails. Additionally, the event features a fun-filled Kinderlauf where kids can choose between two distances: a short 400-meter sprint or a slightly longer 1-kilometer race.
The registration process opens online on February 22, 2026, and remains open until August 9, 2026. Early registrants for the half marathon will pay €30 while those participating in the Volkslauf can sign up for just €15. The cost to enter the Kinderlauf is a modest €5 per child.
On race day, participants will gather at the SVU Vereinsheim starting around 7:30 AM where they can pick up their bib numbers and submit any clothing items that need safekeeping during the event. The mass start times vary based on age group and distance with the half marathon kicking off promptly at 10:15 AM.
