16th Annual Donor Network West Foundation Run/Walk

Stride for Hope Run/Walk returns to San Ramon, California on September 12, 2026. Organized by the Donor Network West Foundation, this year marks the 16th anniversary of an event dedicated to celebrating and honoring organ, eye, and tissue donors along with their recipients.
Participants will gather in a vibrant community setting where each stride taken is more than just exercise—it's a symbol of hope and gratitude. The run/walk route winds through scenic landscapes around San Ramon, offering runners and walkers alike the chance to reflect on the impact of donation while enjoying the beautiful surroundings.
The atmosphere is filled with support for those who have been touched by organ donation in some way or another. Families, friends, and supporters come together to share stories, raise awareness, and inspire others about the life-changing gifts that can be given through donation.
Fundraising efforts are a key part of this event, encouraging participants to collect donations from their networks to support important initiatives related to organ donation awareness and research. For those who reach certain fundraising milestones, e-certificates with monetary values await as recognition for their contributions:
- $5,000 or more: A $300 e-certificate
- $2,500 - $4,999: A $200 e-certificate
- $1,000 - $2,499: A $100 e-certificate
- $500 - $999: A $50 e-certificate
- $250 - $499: A $25 e-certificate
