Ultra Festi'Baltz: A Weekend of Solidarity and Sport
Put on your running shoes for an unforgettable weekend of camaraderie and charity. Ultra Festi’Baltz is not just another race; it’s a collective challenge where everyone runs at their own pace to support a worthy cause.
For 24 hours, runners will navigate a loop around Baltzenheim's streets, covering 800 meters each lap. The goal? To run together, share in the joy of community and raise funds for La Nichée d'Algolsheim, an organization that provides care and accommodation to children who need it.
Whether you’re up for the full day or just a few hours, there’s something for everyone:
- 24-hour challenge
- Marathon (42.2 km)
- Ten-kilometer run
- Five-kilometer fun race
Participants will have access to a rest area equipped with refreshments and seating. For those joining from afar, virtual bibs are available—simply send in your photo wearing the bib via email.
The event promises an array of activities:
Saturday, August 22:
11 AM – Official start for the 24-hour challenge
Throughout the day – Enjoy a variety of entertainment including a special miniature car racing competition.
Evening – Dance and karaoke sessions
Sunday, August 23:
10 AM – Children’s race
11 AM – Closing ceremony for the main event
Food and drink will be available throughout both days. Every step you take during this event is not just about personal achievement; it's a contribution to making a difference in children's lives.
Every registration fee goes directly towards supporting La Nichée, ensuring that 100% of profits from donations and on-site sales are used for the organization’s vital work with children who need their care.
