Experience the exhilaration of racing on Wednesday evenings as part of the 2026 ACA Criterium Series, hosted by the Allegheny Cycling Association (ACA) at the vibrant city of Pittsburgh. Each race offers a unique challenge with courses designed to test your skills and endurance. The series kicks off with Masters categories in the first race, followed by Men's Cat 3/4 in the second event, which now features an enticing $15 entry fee for both races on the same day – making it easier than ever to fit these thrilling sessions into your schedule. The third race welcomes Men’s Cat 4/5 racers. Joining the ACA as a member before registering secures you a $5 discount per event, contributing directly to local racing initiatives in Pittsburgh. For young talent aged 18 and under, USAC licenses are free; however, it's recommended that beginners opt for an annual license instead of just a one-day pass. The series promises competitive fields of at least 20 racers in each event, ensuring increased payouts to the top five positions – adding another layer of excitement and motivation. Women are encouraged to participate by racing men's categories one division down (e.g., Cat 3 women can race Men’s Cat 4/5). A bike registration system will notify ineligibility; however, if you find yourself in this situation, please register regardless. Safety is paramount, with Category 5 racers required to have a one-day USAC license. Minors must also secure parental/guardian signatures on the provided forms for participation.
