Experience the vibrant energy of Pittsburgh's Wednesday criterium series, hosted by the Allegheny Cycling Association (ACA). This unique racing opportunity caters to a wide range of cyclists, from seasoned veterans to newcomers. For just $5 less per race, become an ACA member before registering and support local cycling in the process.
The 2026 ACA Wednesday Criterium Series kicks off with Masters categories on the first race day, followed by Men's Category 3 and 4 racers on the second event. The third race welcomes Men’s Categories 4 and 5 participants. A new twist this year is that the second race will cost only $15, making it more accessible for all.
Fields of at least 20 competitors are expected to see increased payouts going deep into the top five positions. Female racers have the exciting option to compete in men’s fields one category down—Category 3 women can join Category 4 and 5 races, enhancing the competitive spirit on race day. BikeReg will automatically notify ineligible participants; however, if you are a woman looking to participate across categories, please register regardless of any notifications.
For those new to ACA racing, acquiring an annual USA Cycling license is highly recommended for all but Category 5 racers, who must opt for one-day licenses only. Minors require parental or guardian signatures on the USAC One Day License Form, ensuring their safety and participation in these thrilling events.
