Allegheny Cycling Association Tuesday Night Criterium Week 15: Chicane
About the Event
Experience the excitement of Allegheny Cycling Association's (ACA) 2026 Tuesday Criterium Series, held every Tuesday at the scenic Schenley Park in Pittsburgh. This series is designed to cater to racers from a variety of categories and skill levels. For those new to racing or under the age of 18, USAC licenses are free! Consider joining an annual membership for comprehensive benefits over just a one-day license. Visit https://usacycling.org/memberships-new for more information on how to secure your USAC membership. To get started with ACA races and familiarize yourself with the rules, visit https://www.acaracing.com/getstarted.html or download the new ACA racer document at https://www.acaracing.com/Rider%20Instructions.pdf. These resources will ensure you are well-prepared for each race in the series. The first race of the series invites women racers across categories 1 through 5, while the second race is open to non-binary cyclists and those who identify as category 4 or 5. Women from categories 4 and 5 are encouraged to participate here and at W1-5 races for additional practice and competition. The third race of the series welcomes men in categories 1 through 3. A unique feature this season is that the second race on each Tuesday will now cost only $15, providing a more accessible option for racers who wish to compete multiple times throughout the week. Participants can look forward to fields of at least 20+ racers, which guarantees increased payouts down to fifth place. Category 5 (Novice) racers are limited to one-day licenses; all other competitors must possess an active USA Cycling license. Minors under 18 need a parent or guardian's signature on the USAC One Day License Form. Join us at Schenley Park for thrilling races, competitive spirit, and camaraderie among fellow cyclists. Whether you're looking to challenge yourself or simply enjoy the atmosphere of local racing in Pittsburgh, this series has something for every cycling enthusiast.

About Pittsburgh
Learn more about the host city, Pittsburgh.
The pleasure of Pittsburgh remains a well-kept secret. Though not built up by reputation, the city's unique combination of bridges, steep hills, and broad rivers make it one of the most naturally scenic cities in the country. Cheap food and beer abound in this true sports town and the locals are amazingly friendly. A city of about 303,000 (2021) in Allegheny County, at the center of a metro area of about 2.4 million in southwestern Pennsylvania, Pittsburgh is situated at the confluence of three rivers: the Monongahela and Allegheny Rivers, which meet to form the Ohio River. The city's unique terrain has resulted in an unusual city design and a hodge-podge of unique neighborhood "pockets" with diverse ethnic and architectural heritage. Pittsburgh has a rich history and, for its size, an unusual array of cultural treasures, largely thanks to the wealth that was generated when Pittsburgh was a hub of industry.
