Angseong Binae-gil Marathon

The Angseong Binae-gil Marathon is set for October 10, 2026, at the picturesque Angseong Hot Spring Plaza in Chungju, Chungbuk. Organized by the Yangseong-myeon Sports Association and the Korea Marathon Association, this event offers runners a unique blend of scenic beauty and historical charm.
Registration opens early to accommodate up to 1,500 participants for both distances: a 5 km run and a 10 km race. The shorter distance is split into categories for local residents and non-residents, while the longer route welcomes middle school students and older runners. All races are timed using electronic chips, ensuring accurate results.
Participants will gather at Angseong Hot Spring Plaza by 8:00 a.m., with the start of both distances scheduled for 9:00 a.m. The race courses wind around the Namhan River Binae-gil and through the serene Angseong Hot Springs area, offering stunning views along the way.
In addition to an enjoyable running experience, all competitors will receive commemorative T-shirts, finisher medals, and digital certificates sent via mobile app shortly after crossing the line.
