Devon's Running Events invites you to join them for an exciting and flexible challenge: Animal Medal Mystery Challenge Day 1, taking place on May 8th, 2027. This unique event operates under the 'TUGG' system—Turn Up Get Going—which means participants can start at any time between 7:30 AM and 2:30 PM but must complete their final lap by 3:30 PM. The scenic route follows an old disused train line, offering runners a picturesque path through the countryside. Each lap is precisely measured at 5.3 kilometers out and back, ensuring accuracy as it's classified as a road race on tarmac. This event caters to all abilities—whether you're walking or running, there’s something for everyone. The course winds along a well-maintained trail that provides both flat sections and gentle inclines, allowing runners of various levels to enjoy the experience without feeling overwhelmed. As part of this challenge, participants can aim to complete as many laps as possible within the given timeframe. Whether you finish one lap or fourteen, each participant will be recognized for their achievement with a specially designed medal. Entry is limited, so it's recommended that interested runners register early to secure their spot. If capacity is reached and additional entries are received, participants will still receive a custom-designed medal chosen from those available on the day of the event.
