AUCHTERARDER RUNNING FESTIVAL 2026: A WEEKEND OF ENDURANCE AND JOY
Join us for the highly anticipated Auchterarder Running Festival, set to take place from September 12th through 13th. This year’s event is brought to you with special thanks to our main sponsor, Cafe Kisa. Whether you're a seasoned runner or just starting out, there's something here for everyone.
Saturday, September 12th: Junior Fun Run and 10K
Kick off the weekend on Saturday morning with the Junior Fun Run designed exclusively for young athletes between ages 4 to 15. This event offers a fun-filled introduction to running in a safe and supportive environment. Later that day, participants can join us for the challenging yet rewarding 10K run around Auchterarder’s picturesque landscapes.
Sunday, September 13th: Half Marathon
On Sunday, runners will have the opportunity to tackle our scenic half marathon course through rolling hills and charming countryside. This event is perfect for those looking to test their endurance while enjoying the beauty of Auchterarder.
### Event Highlights
- Double Dare Challenge: For an extra thrill, sign up for both events—the 10K on Saturday followed by the Half Marathon on Sunday—to earn not only separate medals and finishers' shirts but also a unique commemorative gift.

- Registration Details: All participants must register in person at The Community School of Auchterarder between 9am and 10:15am each day. No entries will be accepted on the race days.
- Safety Measures: Race marshals will guide runners along the course to ensure a safe experience for all competitors. A thorough safety briefing is sent out via email before the event, covering important information such as cut-off times (1 hour 45 minutes for the 10K and 3 hours 30 minutes for the Half Marathon) and hydration stations provided by Highland Spring.
- Awards Ceremony: Look forward to celebrating your achievements at our prize-giving ceremony. The Junior Fun Run will have its awards presented after the race, while adult events will see prizes awarded around noon on both Saturday and Sunday.
### Additional Information
Participants are encouraged to familiarize themselves with all event policies including no refunds or deferrals once registration is complete. Baggage storage will be available at the registration area but runners should note that there’s no responsibility taken by organizers for lost items during the race day.
