About the Event

The Bear Brook Classic, returning for its tenth year on October 3, 2026, promises an exhilarating race experience through the diverse trails of Bear Brook State Park. Located in Allenstown, New Hampshire, this park offers a unique blend of flow and technical singletrack that will challenge even the most experienced runners.
Race day registration is strictly pre-registration only; no on-site sign-ups or refunds are available. The course measures approximately 6 miles for the Marathon category, with longer distances set aside for Pro/Open (elite), Cat 1 (expert), and Cat 2 (sport) participants. Fat bikers will tackle a shorter route of two laps.
Participants can expect to start in waves, with each wave launching about two minutes apart. The exact course details are still being finalized but promise an engaging mix of terrain and scenery. A BBQ chef from State 9 Racing will provide delicious race day food for all runners.
Bear Brook State Park itself is a vast preserve spanning over 10,000 acres, offering numerous amenities such as camp sites, hiking trails, swimming ponds, and picnic areas. The park’s rich history includes the New Hampshire Snowmobile Museum and historic buildings built by the Civilian Conservation Corps (CCC). Runners will have access to these unique features during their race experience.
Mechanic support is provided by S&W Sports, ensuring that all participants can focus on their performance without worries about equipment issues. Prizes for top finishers in each category include medals; elites may also receive cash awards. Merchandise prizes are available as well, making this event a must-attend for runners and cycling enthusiasts alike.
