The Beskydský Ultra Trail (BUT) returns for its second edition on Saturday, 1st August 2026, offering two epic journeys through the forested peaks of the Beskydy Mountains. Choose your challenge: the formidable 86km ultra with 3,222m of ascent, or the scenic 34km short course, both starting from the Horský hotel Sůkenická in Staré Hamry. This trail running festival immerses you in a landscape of deep woods, rolling ridges, and breathtaking vistas across the Moravian-Silesian region, following well-marked tourist paths. With on-site accommodation reserved for runners and the full support of the local community, BUT is more than a race—it's a deep dive into the heart of Czech mountain culture.
