BrewDog Christmas Run 2026

The BrewDog Christmas Run invites runners of all levels to enjoy an unforgettable festive adventure on Monday, December 28th, starting at 10:30 AM. The route begins from BrewDog Castlegate in Aberdeen and winds through the city's streets before heading out onto the picturesque old railway line that connects Aberdeen with Ellon.
Participants have two options for this fun run:
- A full distance of approximately 21 miles (34 kilometers) starting at BrewDog Castlegate.
- An intermediate route of about 15 miles (24 kilometers), beginning from Dyce Railway Station and joining the main group en route to DogTap in Ellon.
The day promises a scenic journey through Aberdeen's bustling streets, followed by peaceful countryside along the historic railway line. Upon reaching Ellon, runners will enjoy views of the town’s riverside path as they make their way to BrewDog DogTap, the event's destination and finish line.
Upon arrival at DogTap in Ellon, participants can relax in the museum room or take advantage of outdoor space if weather permits. The venue offers a warm welcome with snacks, beverages, and refreshments provided along the route at two checkpoints located strategically near Dyce (10 kilometers) and Udny Station (23 kilometers).
For those who prefer to travel light during the run, bag drop facilities will be available in Castlegate or Dyce for easy retrieval upon finishing. The event also provides a special goody bag filled with souvenirs such as an exclusive t-shirt, a commemorative medal, beer, snacks, and more.
Entry fees are tiered: early birds can secure their spot at £44 until August 31st, rising to £52 from November onwards. BrewDog employees have the opportunity to participate for free; interested individuals should contact aberdeendavid@icloud.com or call 07881 522337.

Getting Home:
After completing the run, participants are free to leave Ellon at any time or arrange for transportation back home. The venue is conveniently located near Park & Ride facilities where regular buses depart regularly from Union Square.
