Bridge To Bridge Highland Cycle

On Saturday, September 12, 2026, cyclists are invited to embark on an extraordinary journey from the Skye Bridge to Kessock Bridge in Inverness. This 77-mile (123km) challenge winds through some of Scotland's most breathtaking landscapes, offering a unique blend of scenic beauty and exhilarating terrain.
The event is dedicated to supporting three remarkable charities that make a significant impact on young people’s lives across the Highlands: Aban Outdoor, This Is Me Highland, and Highland Action For Little Ones - Halo. These organizations work tirelessly to provide essential support through outdoor adventures, educational programs for children with neurodevelopmental disorders, and family assistance initiatives.
This year's event also extends its charitable reach by partnering with additional local causes such as Inspire Project (based in Inverness Cathedral), Disability Sport – Highland, Inverness Women’s Aid, Outfit Moray, and Highland Hospital Radio. Each of these charities plays a crucial role in enhancing the well-being and quality of life for individuals within their communities.
Participants are encouraged to raise at least £135 towards these causes, with all funds going directly to support the vital work being done by each organization. A registration fee of £25 is required to cover operational costs and ensure that every penny raised goes back into supporting the charities involved in this initiative.
Safety remains a top priority for Bridge to Bridge Highland Cycle Committee 2026. Cyclists are expected to maintain an average speed of approximately 13mph (21kph) to complete the route within seven hours, ensuring both inclusivity and safety throughout the event.
