YourOMaps Northern Orienteering Urban League 2026 Join the YourOMaps Northern Orienteering Urban League, an exciting series of six summer events organized by BASOC, INVOC, and MOR. This year’s league offers a fantastic opportunity for orienteers to challenge themselves across diverse urban landscapes. The final event in this thrilling season is set to take place in Burghead, meticulously planned by the Moray Orienteering Club (MOR). Competitors will have two course options: a long distance of 5-6.5 km and a shorter route ranging from 2-3.5 km. Participants aged 16 or older can compete solo on either track. For those under 16, adult supervision is required unless specified otherwise in the final event details. All participants are reminded to proceed at their own risk and take full responsibility for their safety during the race. If you commit to all six events throughout the series, a discount will be automatically applied to your entry fee for the sixth competition. The league's scoring system rewards athletes based on their performance relative to the winner in each event. Your best four finishes out of the six races contribute to your overall standing in the league. The season concludes with an awards ceremony at the final race, where prizes are distributed among top performers.
