Calgary Women's Run 2026

On Sunday, August 23, the vibrant city of Calgary will host the 48th annual Calgary Women’s Run at North Glenmore Park. Participants can choose from two race distances: a scenic 5km route or an exhilarating 10km course.
This year's event is held in a brand-new location that offers stunning views of the picturesque Glenmore Reservoir and its surrounding natural beauty. The run begins with group warm-up sessions for both distance categories, ensuring all runners are ready to tackle their chosen challenge.
The race itself promises an invigorating experience along winding paths and through lush green spaces. Whether you're a seasoned runner or just starting out, the supportive atmosphere is designed to make everyone feel welcome.
After crossing the finish line, participants will be greeted with post-race treats from local favorites like Lakeview Bakery, Village Ice Cream, Monogram Coffee, and more. Each registrant receives a swag bag featuring custom Calgary Women’s Run socks as well as other goodies from Canadian sponsors.
This year's event has an added purpose: to support Made by Momma, a local charity that works tirelessly for the benefit of families in need within the community. The organizers are encouraging runners to consider making donations during registration, helping to expand their impact and support more individuals through this vital organization.
