EpicTrails 10km - Exploring trails by headtorch

EpicTrails invites trail runners to experience an enchanting evening adventure starting at Milngavie Train Station on October 15, 2026. The run begins under the fading light of day and continues into twilight as participants make their way along scenic trails near the Clyde Coastal Path and sections of the West Highland Way.
Led by a qualified guide with extensive experience in trail running who is fully insured and trained in first aid, this social event ensures that no runner will be left behind. The pace varies throughout the evening to accommodate different levels of fitness and terrain challenges, allowing all participants to enjoy the journey at their own comfortable speed. Regular regrouping points are established along the route for safety measures.
The run is not open to runners under 18 or those accompanied by dogs due to insurance restrictions. Participants must bring appropriate trail shoes and a head torch as essential gear; additional kit requirements will be detailed in the event brief sent out prior to race day. No runner without proper equipment will be permitted to start the adventure.
Proceeds from this non-profit run are dedicated first to covering operational costs, with any remaining funds donated periodically to local charitable causes. Should you need to cancel your participation, please inform us well ahead of time for a refund; however, refunds won't be issued if cancellation is made less than 24 hours before the event.
