Escape from Folsom Trail Runs

The Escape from Folsom Trail Runs, set for 2027, invites runners to explore the scenic trails along Folsom Lake's shoreline through two challenging courses: a 5K and a 10-mile run. Both routes are adorned with vibrant wildflowers and feature aid stations that provide essential hydration and energy boosts throughout the journey.
Participants will cross paths with breathtaking views of granite cliffs, serene waters reflecting the sun’s rays, and lush greenery as they navigate winding trails along Folsom Lake State Recreation Area's Granite Beach. The race promises a memorable experience for all runners who appreciate natural beauty and challenging terrain.
Upon completion of their respective distances, finishers will receive distinctive medals to commemorate their achievement. Race day registration opens at 7:00 am with packet pickup available until the start time. Runners are encouraged to purchase soft-cotton race shirts in advance, priced at $20 each, for a touch of style and comfort.
The Escape from Folsom Trail Runs offers competitive opportunities as well; first place overall male and female finishers will be awarded champion titles alongside prizes for top three age group winners.
