FOULEES DES LANGOUSTINES - Challenge RUN AVENTURE BRO AN ORIANT 2026

Discover the Foulées des Langoustines, an engaging race set to take place on Sunday, August 9th, 2026. This year’s edition is part of the RUN AVENTURE - BRO AN ORIANT challenge and promises a unique blend of athletic competition and environmental awareness.
The event celebrates the annual Fête des Langoustines in a stunning coastal setting. Participants can choose between two distances: a challenging 16km race starting at 9h30, or an enjoyable 9km course beginning half an hour later. Both races are designed to showcase the beauty of the local landscape while highlighting its environmental fragility.
Registration is now open with limited spots available: only 400 dossards for the longer distance and 350 for the shorter one. To secure your place, visit Klikego’s online platform by August 6th at midnight (20h00). Race numbers will be distributed on race day from 8h15 onward in Rue du Rivage under a tent.
A key highlight of this year's event is its commitment to environmental conservation. All participants must read and agree to an environmental charter as part of their registration process. Additionally, runners are encouraged to make a small donation during sign-up to support the preservation of local trails and wetlands through three available options.
The race courses offer a mix of 40% road and 60% off-road paths, ensuring accessibility for all levels while still providing some challenging inclines to test endurance. Participants will traverse picturesque locales such as Locmiquélic’s marais pathways, the charming villages of Kervern and Kergatamignan, and enjoy a stunning coastal stretch along Pen Mané Bihan's digue.
The 16km route culminates in an unforgettable sprint across the Pointe du Bigot, offering breathtaking views over the port. Both races are open to runners aged cadet or above for the shorter distance and junior or older for the longer one.
Prizes include awards for the top three finishers overall (men and women) as well as first place winners in each age category not represented in the general rankings. Every participant will receive a commemorative item, and there’s also a raffle draw during the race with results posted at the finish line.
