Gravel Challenge

On September 7, 2025, the Le Brevet Fédéral Gravel Challenge - Estérel Edition invites experienced gravel cyclists to explore the stunning landscapes of Var and Alpes-Maritimes. Starting at 8:30 AM from Adrets de l'Estérel, this challenging event covers a distance of 100 kilometers with an elevation gain of 2000 meters.
Participants will navigate through diverse terrains that wind between the Mediterranean coast and mountainous regions, offering breathtaking views along the way. The route demands a comprehensive setup including helmets, lighting systems, reflective clothing, suitable tires, GPS devices, food supplies, and more to ensure safety throughout the ride.
To validate their progress, cyclists must use GPS tracking combined with photos at designated checkpoints. Entry is mandatory through Ride & Smile's website due to limited spots available; on-site registration will not be possible. Cyclists who are non-licensed are required to have liability insurance for both property and personal injury coverage.
For practical information leading up to the event, riders can join the WhatsApp group managed by Ride & Smile. This community platform serves as a valuable resource where participants can exchange tips and updates with fellow cyclists before embarking on this epic adventure.
