Great Rift Athletics Foundation has been established for over two years now to support community development through athletics and education. This inaugural half marathon is part of their ongoing efforts to inspire young athletes, providing them with mentorship opportunities and educational pathways. The race course covers 5K for adult participants and a Kids K option designed specifically for younger runners, ensuring that all ages can enjoy this community-oriented event. Starting at Edgewater Pavilion, it follows a firm path through Confederation Park B before heading into residential areas with notable landmarks like the Hamilton Beachside Trail. Finishers will be greeted back near their starting point, where refreshments and post-race celebrations await.
