Cyclists can choose from four distinct routes tailored to various skill levels: Sweeping Valleys (119k), The Highwayman Ride (78k), The Cavalier Ride (33k), and The Sergison Ride (20k). Each route showcases the undulating roads of Haywards Heath, providing a mix of challenges for experienced riders while remaining accessible to beginners.
The event's family-friendly atmosphere is enhanced by enthusiastic support from local community groups who cheer participants along their journey. Cyclists can expect scenic countryside views and a warm welcome at every turn.
Proceeds from the ride benefit two outstanding charities: Crawley Open House, which provides crucial services for those facing homelessness or social exclusion; and Kangaroos, dedicated to supporting individuals with severe learning disabilities and their families.
Participants will receive a medal upon completion of any route, along with chip timing. Safety is paramount, so all riders must wear helmets to participate. Cyclists under 18 need parental consent forms signed by an adult guardian.
Entry fees are set at £30 for the Sweeping Valleys and The Highwayman Ride routes, while the Cavalier Ride and Sergison Ride cost £15 each. Family tickets offering discounted entry for two adults and one child on both family-friendly routes can be purchased for £30.
