About the Event

On September 12, the Lions Club of Pontivy and the Nautical Club of Loudeac are thrilled to present Guerlédan à la nage at Lac de Guerlédan. This year’s race is dedicated to raising funds for FRAGILE X FRANCE.
The event offers a variety of swimming distances suitable for all levels, including adaptive options designed for individuals with disabilities and beginners alike. The morning segment features a 250-meter course tailored specifically for those in the HANDICAP and SPORT ADAPT categories. For young swimmers aged between 12 to 15 years old, there is a dedicated 500-meter race.
The main event includes three challenging distances: 1 km, 2 km, and an exhilarating Knockout course that combines segments of 1000 meters, 500 meters, and finally 250 meters. Swimmers will navigate the clear waters of Lac de Guerlédan, surrounded by stunning natural scenery.
Participants can enjoy on-site refreshments at a variety of bars and food stalls offering local delicacies and snacks to fuel up before or after their swim. A vibrant village atmosphere with vendors selling swimming gear and accessories adds to the festive spirit.
Packets will be available for pickup starting from 9:00 AM on September 12th at Mur de Bretagne’s outdoor sports base gymnasium, providing a convenient spot for swimmers to collect all necessary materials before their race day adventure.
