About the Event

The Mariager Fjord OK, in collaboration with Sportigan Hadsund, is set to host the annual Hadsundløbet for its 34th edition. This year's race features three distances: 3.3 km, 5.5 km, and a challenging 10.5 km event exclusively for participants born before 2012.
Competitors can choose from age categories tailored to runners aged -8 years up to those over 70 years old. Each class is further divided by gender, ensuring fair competition across all ages. The race organizers define competitors' ages based on their current year of birth in 2026 for the purpose of classification.
Participants will be treated to a variety of scenic routes along Mariager Fjord and through Hadsund's picturesque landscapes, making this event not just about racing but also an opportunity to enjoy local scenery. Winners across all age groups receive recognition with awards presented at the finish line, though it’s worth noting that there are no prizes for walkers.
Registration fees vary depending on the date of registration and participant age: before August 31st, children aged 0-14 years pay DKK 60 while those over 15 years old pay DKK 90. After this deadline, the cost increases to DKK 110 for younger participants and DKK 140 for older runners.
