Herencia Latina 5K

Experience the vibrant atmosphere of the 2026 Herencia Latina 5K, an inclusive race welcoming runners and walkers alike to Munger Park in Lafayette. This scenic course through lush greenery offers participants a memorable run or leisurely walk.
Registration for this event is open until Friday, September 11th at 3:00 PM, with early packet pick-up available on Saturday, September 12th from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM. Race day registration and check-in will take place the morning of Sunday, September 13th from 7:30 AM to 8:30 AM.
The race starts promptly at 9:00 AM with chip timing ensuring accurate results for all participants. Early registrants who sign up by Tuesday, September 1st before noon are guaranteed a commemorative event shirt; however, extra shirts will be available on a first-come-first-served basis after this date.
Entry fees are $35 if registered in advance and increase to $40 on race day. Parking is limited near the start/finish line, so carpooling or utilizing nearby lots such as Eastway Plaza or Automotive Solutions is recommended for easier access.
After crossing the finish line, runners can look forward to special prizes awarded to the top three male and female overall winners along with age group awards in six categories: 19 & Under, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, and 60+. Refreshments will also be provided for all participants to enjoy.
