About the Event
A new race from the trusted Monster/Little Sun team, this event runs October 31 - November 1 at Fuya Square, Huizhou Ancient City, Shexian County, Huangshan, Anhui, with a 5,500-runner cap across "Heaven and Earth Left Blank" 100K (1,000 spots), "Rivers and Mountains in Brushstroke" 65K (1,500 spots), "Xin'an Ink Test" 40K (1,500 spots), and "Gentle Breeze on Paper" 25K (1,500 spots). Registration is first-come, first-served. The 100K (~102km, ~6,300m gain) starts 6:00 with a 30-hour cutoff; the 65K (~64.6km, ~3,000m gain) starts 7:00 with a 17-hour cutoff; the 40K (~41.2km, ~1,700m gain) starts in two waves (7:30/8:00) with a 12-hour cutoff; the 25K (~26km, ~1,000m gain) starts in two waves (8:30/9:00) with a 7-hour cutoff. Autumn in Huizhou has been named one of China's most beautiful places by CNN, and late October into early November brings the region's most brilliant color of the year -- hillsides turning gold and red around the white-walled, black-tiled Huizhou-style architecture. New this year: with the Xiaochuan Bridge over the Xin'an River now fully open, the course expands beyond the spring race's north-bank route to link both sides of the river.
