Independence Activists Descendants Donation Running, University Student RUN

On October 11, 2026, runners will gather at the Anyangcheon Soccer Field near Guil Station on Line 1 for an inspiring run that combines physical challenge with social impact. This public-interest running project offers a meaningful way to commemorate and support descendants of independence activists through your participation.
The event features two course options: a scenic round-trip route covering 5 kilometers, ideal for runners looking for a shorter yet engaging experience; or the longer middle-distance option at 10 kilometers, designed for those who want to push their limits while contributing to an important cause. Participants are invited to arrive early and meet up with fellow runners from around 7:00 a.m., with the race starting promptly at 8:30 a.m.
The entry fee is set at KRW 50,000 for all categories, offering a special discount of 10% for members of partner organizations. Each participant will receive a functional short-sleeve T-shirt and bib number upon registration. Timing chips are provided to ensure accurate race results, while finishers can look forward to receiving an exclusive medal commemorating their achievement.
The event also emphasizes environmental responsibility by promoting eco-friendly practices throughout the day. Participants are encouraged to use public transportation due to limited parking in the Anyangcheon riverside area near the venue. Additionally, a range of sustainable initiatives will be implemented during race operations to minimize waste and promote green living.
Join us for an uplifting run that not only celebrates personal growth but also supports a cause with deep historical significance. Whether you are running solo or alongside friends and family, this event offers a unique opportunity to make a difference while enjoying the vibrant atmosphere of Anyangcheon Soccer Field.
