About the Event

YourOMaps Northern Orienteering Urban League 2026
Join the YourOMaps Northern Orienteering Urban League, an exhilarating series of six summer events organized by BASOC, INVOC, and MOR. This year's league offers a unique blend of urban exploration and competitive spirit across diverse Scottish landscapes.
The fifth event in this dynamic series is hosted by INVOC - UHI and Raigmore, promising to challenge runners with two distinct courses: a longer route spanning 5-6.5 kilometers for those seeking an extended adventure, and a shorter option ranging from 2-3.5 kilometers ideal for newcomers or seasoned orienteers looking for a quick yet engaging experience.
Competitors aged 16 and over are welcome to participate solo on either course. However, juniors under the age of 16 must be accompanied by an adult guardian unless otherwise specified in event details. Participants should proceed at their own pace and ensure they prioritize personal safety throughout the race.
For those committed to completing all six events, a discount will apply automatically to your entry fee for the final competition. The league's scoring system awards points based on finishing times relative to the winner, with prizes distributed during the concluding event of the series.
