Jonny's Gold Ribbon 5km Run/Walk

Embark on the Jonny’s Gold Ribbon Run, scheduled for July 26 at Willow Cove Pavilion within Confederation Beach Park in Hamilton. This 5km run/walk is dedicated to raising funds and awareness for sarcoma research at McMaster University.
The event promises a supportive atmosphere where teams or individuals can join forces. Whether you’re running alongside friends or taking on the challenge alone, every participant’s presence counts. The route will lead runners through scenic paths of Confederation Beach Park, offering a mix of paved trails and natural beauty that enhances your experience.
Commence at 8:30 AM with participant check-in and bib number collection. At 9:45 AM, enjoy welcome remarks followed by sponsor recognition and ambassador introductions. A dynamic warm-up session led by Dr. Michelle Ghert will prepare you for the start of the run/walk at exactly 10:00 AM.
Post-race, from 10:30 to 11:00 AM, participants can unwind with refreshments while celebrating their efforts. The event concludes with awards and prize giveaways, along with closing remarks that highlight the impact of your participation in supporting sarcoma research.
Secure a commemorative t-shirt at early bird prices until April 30 for $15 (plus processing fee), or purchase online starting May 1 for $20. On-site registration will cost you $25 per participant, ensuring every step forward supports critical discoveries and improved care for patients and families.
