About the Event

The Kangaroo Island Marathon was established in 2015 and has welcomed runners representing 25 countries and every state in Australia over the past decade. The course route carves its way through the heart of a shutdown Flinders Chase National Park. Runners are inspired by post-bushfire regenerating flora and fauna, undulating and deviating roads, an exposed coastal section with cliff top views to the powerful southern ocean and a boardwalk leading to the iconic Remarkable Rocks.
