KREMASTA LAKE RUN 2026

KREMASTA LAKE RUN is set to take place on Sunday, August 30, 2026, within the administrative boundaries of Amphialos and Agrafa municipalities. The race offers three distinct events catering to runners of all ages and skill levels.
The flagship event is a 25-kilometer road race starting at 8:30 AM from Halchipoulos-Vinianes Regional Road. Runners will navigate through picturesque landscapes, crossing the Tatarnas Bridge before turning left towards Chrysová and then right onto Boulipe-Empeos Regional Road. The course continues with a turn left into Velóra and another to Topoliana, passing under its bridge. After crossing Templas Bridge, participants will finish at the new Templas Bridge near Boulipe-Empeos Regional Road. Water stations are placed every 2.5 kilometers along this challenging route.
For those looking for a shorter race, the 13-kilometer event begins at 9:00 AM from Alakios Bridge and leads through Neo Argiri before finishing back at Templas Bridge via Boulipe-Empeos Regional Road. This scenic course is designed with runners aged 15 years or older in mind, though younger participants must have parental consent to compete.
Youngsters and families can also join the fun with a 900-meter event for children and family members starting at 9:30 AM from Platanaki Park and ending near Templas Bridge. This shorter race is perfect for introducing young athletes to competitive running while enjoying the beautiful surroundings of Kremasta Lake.
Participants in both longer races will compete across various age categories, including those aged up to 34 years old through to over 65 years. The event organizers strongly recommend that all runners undergo a recent medical and cardiac check-up before participating but do not require proof of health clearance from medical professionals.
