Starting at Salle Costis in Aussillon, the 1001-D route winds through picturesque landscapes, culminating in an ascent over the iconic Pic de Nore. This mountain peak stands as the highest point of Montagne Noire, adding a significant challenge to what is already a rewarding journey for participants and spectators alike.
