About the Event

Join us for the inaugural edition of La Course au Homard, taking place around La Baule Airport on September 5, 2026. Gather at Avenue du Breton where our vibrant race village will be set up and all three races will commence.
The event kicks off with the Petite Crevettes Race, a fun-filled 1-kilometer dash for children aged 7 to 13 years old. Departing at 2:30 PM, this short yet spirited run offers refreshments upon arrival along with awards for the top three boys and girls in each age category.
For those looking to stretch their legs further, we have two challenging options. The 5-kilometer race starts promptly at 3:30 PM, providing a scenic route around La Baule Airport. Participants will receive water at the finish line and medals for the first three male and female runners overall.
The grand finale is the 10-kilometer course that departs at 4:30 PM. This longer distance offers breathtaking views of the surrounding area while testing endurance with hydration stations located every five kilometers, plus a final refreshment stop upon crossing the finish line. As always, top male and female runners will be recognized.
