The CR4C of Roanne is proud to co-host the fifth annual Cyclosportive with the Department of Loire, the Municipality of Saint Just en Chevalet, and the local Club Cyclot. This event welcomes cyclists aged 16 and above, offering a diverse range of routes that cater to all levels. The starting point and finish line are set in the charming village of Saint Just en Chevalet, providing an ideal base for participants. The day features four road courses and three gravel paths, each winding through some of Loire's most picturesque landscapes. Cyclists will traverse the stunning gorges of the Loire River while ascending the Monts de la Madeleine and venturing into the Massif des Bois Noirs. These routes offer a mix of challenging climbs and scenic descents, making it an unforgettable experience for both road cyclists and gravel enthusiasts. Saint Just en Chevalet is conveniently located just five minutes from exit 5 on the A89 motorway, within a half-hour drive to Roanne, and approximately one hour away from Saint Etienne or Clermont Ferrand. The event also places participants roughly an hour and a half from Lyon, making it easily accessible for cyclists across the region. Whether you're looking for a challenging ride through hilly terrain or a leisurely tour of scenic Loire Valley roads, this Cyclosportive promises to deliver an incredible day out on two wheels.
