Les 10 Km Vayres - Rochechouart

Organized by ROC Athlé, affiliated with the FFA, this race takes runners on an exhilarating 10-kilometer loop along the RD 675 road. The starting and finishing lines are set at the picturesque Boichenu lake site in Rochechouart.
The course features a smooth asphalt surface for the entire route, offering participants a flat terrain that is both challenging and enjoyable. Runners will complete two laps of 5 kilometers each, providing ample opportunity to soak in the scenic surroundings as they race through this charming French countryside.
Registration fees are set at €10 for all runners except those with a "challenge CDR87" card who should contact organizers for special discounts. On-site registration is available based on remaining bib numbers and will take place from 8:30 AM onwards, directly at the Boichenu lake site where participants can collect their race kits.
To ensure fair competition, runners must adhere to strict rules regarding equipment; specifically, no waist belts or running vests with attached bibs are allowed. Violation of this rule may result in disqualification.
Water stations will be strategically placed every 5 kilometers and at the finish line, ensuring that athletes remain hydrated throughout their run. While showers won't be provided on site, campers can enjoy a camping area nearby for those looking to extend their stay beyond race day.
In addition to the competitive spirit, there's also an awards ceremony celebrating top performers in both men’s and women’s categories as well as first-place finishers within each age group not already recognized on the podium.
