RAID BOL D'EAU 2026

Raid Multisport is an exhilarating competition that combines various disciplines, including running, canoeing, and mountain biking, with the added challenge of laser shooting on select courses. The race takes place across picturesque landscapes around Aixe-sur-Vienne, offering participants a unique blend of adventure and scenic beauty.
Race Day begins early at 6:45 AM when athletes can pick up their bibs from the Halle Marchande located in Place René Gillet. This is also where post-race festivities will take place, including a complimentary meal for all registered competitors. The event offers several race formats to suit different levels of experience and skill.
For those looking for an intense challenge, there's the Bol d'Eau (Water Bowl), which starts at 8:30 AM with two-person teams consisting of a captain aged 18 or older and an assistant who must be at least 14 years old. The race includes segments like running over rugged terrain for approximately 5 kilometers, followed by canoeing on serene waters covering around 9 kilometers. Participants then transition to the exhilarating thrill of mountain biking across varied trails stretching about 24.60 kilometers.
The Light version offers a more accessible route starting at 9:30 AM with similar segments but shorter distances for each discipline, making it ideal for those who want an engaging yet less demanding experience. The Light course features running over 2.73 kilometers, canoeing through calm waters spanning about 6.23 kilometers, and biking along trails totaling around 16.62 kilometers.
For younger athletes aged 10 or older accompanied by an adult (or those above the age of 14 who can participate independently), there are two Bol Découverte options starting at 8:40 AM. The longer route covers a total distance of about 31 kilometers, while the shorter one is approximately 27 kilometers in length, both featuring a mix of running and canoeing on tranquil waters before concluding with mountain biking through scenic trails.
All participants are required to present a medical certificate stating their fitness for competitive sports at registration. The event also includes a convenient bike parking area located near Saint-Priest-sous-Aixe where athletes can safely leave their bikes until the end of the race, when they will be transported back to the Halle Marchande along with any personal gear.
Registration fees cover not only entry into one of these exciting races but also include a hearty post-race meal. The Bol d'Eau and Light formats cost 25 euros per person, while the Découverte routes are more affordable at just 15 euros each.
