About the Event

Kicking off the year on January 3, 2027, runners of all levels are invited to join the annual New Year's trail run. This festive race offers three different circuits through the enchanting woods of Mièry, catering to both seasoned athletes and newcomers alike.
Participants can choose from a variety of distances: 20 kilometers for those seeking a longer challenge, 14 kilometers for an intermediate adventure, or 10 kilometers for a more leisurely run. Each route winds through picturesque trails that showcase the natural beauty of Mièry's forested landscape. The event promises surprises along the way and culminates with warm vin chaud at the finish line.
The race starts from Salle des fêtes in Upie, where runners gather before setting off on their chosen circuit. Departure times are scheduled as follows: 9:30 AM for both the 20-kilometer and 14-kilometer routes, followed by a start at 10:30 AM for those opting for the 10-kilometer course.
In addition to the competitive spirit, there will be opportunities for leisurely walks through the woods. Each participant receives a humorous collector's T-shirt that can be proudly worn throughout the year as a memento of this lively event.
