Liverpool South 10K

The Liverpool Mile Race offers runners an exhilarating experience around Wavertree Athletics Track, featuring 190 meters plus two additional laps on the track before moving onto five laps of the park. The final stretch brings participants back to the track for a sprint finish over the last 100 meters.
Organized by MCC Promotions and affiliated with England Athletics, this race ensures an accurately measured course that challenges runners while providing a fair competition environment. Participants can look forward to bespoke medals awarded to all finishers, along with spot prizes including trophies for the top three male and female competitors.
For those traveling from afar, Liverpool Lime Street railway station offers convenient access via British Rail services. The event also provides bus routes connecting various parts of the city to the race venue. Toilets are available on-site, as well as a designated drop-off area for spectators and participants alike. Safety is prioritized with first aid stations strategically placed throughout.
Hydration points are set up at key sections along the course to ensure runners stay hydrated during their run. The terrain consists of smooth track surfaces and pathways within the park, making it both runnable and enjoyable underfoot conditions.
Results will be published on www.mccpromotions.com shortly after the event concludes, allowing participants to review their performance against top competitors such as Dan Craig (male course record holder with 33:24) and Caroline Brenchley (female course record holder with 36:05).
