Tees Trailtastic 2027 invites trail runners of all levels to experience an unforgettable day in Teesdale. This inclusive and beautifully crafted event offers routes that cater to beginners, seasoned athletes, and everyone in between, with distances ranging from a manageable 3.5 miles to the more challenging 9 and 15-mile courses.
The trails are meticulously designed to highlight some of the most stunning vistas in the area while providing varied terrain that tests your skills but keeps you engaged throughout. Friendly marshals line the routes, ensuring every runner feels supported as they tackle hills, descents, and scenic paths.
Upon finishing, participants will be greeted with a warm community atmosphere at the finish line where goodies await to celebrate their achievement. The event also offers optional group warm-up sessions and post-run LRC Yoga led by yoga instructor Susie from Long Run Collective, enhancing your overall experience beyond just running.
All runners who complete the race receive exclusive Tees Trailtastic memorabilia, a tangible reminder of the day’s camaraderie and beauty. Additionally, spot prizes are up for grabs thanks to generous local businesses, adding an extra layer of excitement to the event.
Facilities at the race HQ include toilets, with parking options nearby at Teesdale School—either paid (£5) or limited free spaces in town. Participants should note that there will be no changing facilities available on-site; it’s recommended to leave valuables secured in your vehicle or with a spectator.
The 15-mile course has a generous cut-off time of five hours, welcoming both runners and walk-runners alike. Aid stations are strategically placed along each route—providing water and essential hydration thanks to Precision Fuel & Hydration—to keep you fueled throughout the day.
