Monthly Mile 17th September 2026

Embark on an affordable running journey through the scenic South Park in Darlington, where each month brings you a fresh opportunity to cover one mile along certified and traffic-free paths. This series is open to runners aged 8 and above of all skill levels, offering both casual joggers and competitive athletes a welcoming environment.
The course winds its way around gently rolling terrain that showcases the park's lush greenery and tranquil atmosphere, providing participants with an enjoyable experience away from city noise. To be eligible for prizes, you must complete at least three out of the five scheduled races; your best three age grade scores will determine your final placement if more than three are completed.
Races #2 through #5 are set to take place throughout the summer months, culminating in a complimentary sixth race and awards presentation in September. Entry into this series can be secured for £11, which covers all five races or six including the bonus event at no additional cost. Alternatively, you may choose to pay just £3.50 per individual race on the day with cash accepted.
Adhering strictly to UKA Rules of Competition and Power of 10 standards, these events contribute valuable results towards national rankings such as Run Britain Rankings.
