Maggie’s 5K & 10K Chase: Run for Nature, Run for Maggie's Sunday, September 20th, 2026 Hosted at Maggie’s Forth Valley, this year’s event offers runners the opportunity to support a vital local charity while enjoying one of Falkirk’s most picturesque natural settings. Whether you’re an avid runner or just out for a leisurely jog, your participation will make a meaningful impact. The race takes place amidst serene woodland trails that wind around Forth Valley Royal Hospital. Participants will traverse tranquil forest paths and circle the serene loch before heading toward a memorable finish line right outside Maggie’s Centre. This event is more than just a run; it's an opportunity to contribute directly to Maggie’s Forth Valley, which provides essential support for individuals living with cancer and their families. By signing up, you’ll receive your own personalized fundraising page via the email confirmation pack we send out. Any donations made through this link go straight to Maggie’s Forth Valley. We encourage runners to aim for a £100 sponsorship goal; these funds can make a significant difference in helping those affected by cancer and their loved ones. Participants begin from the centre and run alongside Larbert Hospital before cutting into the surrounding forest paths. The course features a mix of woodland trails, tarmac sections, and gentle gradients, making it suitable for both road and trail shoes. For the 5K route, runners will enjoy scenic views through the forest with a stunning finishing loop around Maggies Pond back to the start line. In contrast, the 10K route offers an extended journey through tranquil woodland paths, looping around Maggies Pond twice before returning for a magical final lap and crossing the finish line proudly at Maggie’s Centre. The event is open to runners aged 15 years or older. - The 5K race starts at 9:00 am - The 10K race begins promptly at 9:10 am Prize giving will take place immediately following each race completion, allowing participants and spectators alike to celebrate their achievements.
