About the Event

Experience the thrill of Marys Mayhem 2026, the third and final event of the Bushranger Gravel Series. Set amidst the picturesque landscapes of Mudgee and Rylstone regions in New South Wales, this unique race promises a memorable journey through some of Australia's finest champagne gravel roads.
Saturday begins at Small Batch Brewery and Hop Farm just outside Mudgee NSW with three looped courses: 30km, 60km, and 100km. Each route offers diverse terrains that challenge both beginners and seasoned riders alike while providing breathtaking views of the region's rolling hills and charming countryside.
Sunday continues at The Globe Hotel in Rylstone NSW, wrapping up with a similar trio of loops to complete your adventure. Both days offer a mix of flat terrain over the Great Dividing Range, ensuring an enjoyable experience for all participants without the steep climbs that can be found in other areas.
Participants will enjoy professional photography services from ReadyAimMedia and on-course support zones where you can grab sustenance or fix any mechanical issues quickly. A beer festival awaits at both event locations after your rides, hosted by local craft brewers to celebrate the community spirit.
Inspired by Mary Ann Bugg, a legendary Worimi woman who is believed to be Australia's first female bushranger in the 1800s, this race honors her adventurous spirit and resilience. A video on her life provides an engaging insight into the event’s cultural significance.
For those looking for more than just a great ride, Graveleur welcomes everyone aged 12 years or older to join in the fun. Entry fees are reasonable and include two days of riding, professional photos, course feed zones with mechanical support, insurance coverage from local authorities, and an exclusive commemorative patch as part of your goodies bag.
Prizes generously donated by sponsors will be awarded on a first-come, best-prize basis to encourage early entries. A family discount is available for those living at the same address, while groups of 10 or more can secure a 10% reduction with group registration.
Accommodation options are plentiful around Mudgee and Rylstone; participants should book their stays separately as transportation to the event center each morning will be on your own.
