Melar Noz Trail

Get ready for the third edition of MELAR NOZ TRAIL, set to take place on Saturday, November 21, 2026! The Saint Mélar association invites you to join them for an evening filled with sport, camaraderie, and fun. This event offers a variety of options to suit every level of runner or walker.
The main attraction is the 14 km trail race that starts at 6:00 PM sharp, featuring a total elevation gain of 250 meters. The shorter option is an 8 km night run starting shortly after at 6:15 PM with 150 meters of ascent. For those who prefer to walk and enjoy the scenery under the stars, there's also an 8 km guided hike that departs at 6:20 PM.
All routes are designed to challenge participants through varied terrain in Plouzélambre, Saint-Michel-en-Grève, Tréduder, and Lanvellec. Expect rolling hills, technical sections, and possibly some mud along the way, illuminated by headlamps for a unique nocturnal experience.
Participants must bring their own lighting equipment as it is mandatory to ensure safety during this twilight run. Upon crossing the finish line, all runners will receive a complimentary galette-saucisse (a traditional savory pancake), adding to the festive atmosphere.
The event continues with an extended celebration featuring live music and refreshments including hot drinks, more galettes-saucisses, and crepes available for purchase at the on-site café. This social gathering allows everyone to unwind together after their efforts.
