Midlands Cyclo-Cross Championships

About the Event

Welcome to round 1 of the Midlands Cyclo-Cross Championships, part of an exciting four-race series. Each leg will contribute points towards your overall standings, building anticipation and competition as you progress through the season.
This championship is open to all riders, with no affiliation required to British Cycling, ensuring a diverse field of competitors. No licenses are necessary for participation, making it accessible to both seasoned athletes and newcomers alike.
For budding cyclists aged 9 and below, we offer free entry into this non-competitive category, perfect for introducing young talents to the world of cyclo-cross without pressure. While there will be no podiums or competitive rankings in this age group, participants can still enjoy the thrill of racing with their peers.
A detailed rider brief will be emailed out on Fridays preceding each race, providing essential information and instructions. Riders are reminded that tyres must adhere to British Cycling Cyclo-Cross rules to ensure fairness and safety throughout the series.
Prepare for challenging yet exhilarating courses designed to test your skills and endurance in varied terrain. Whether you're looking to compete or simply enjoy the atmosphere of cyclo-cross racing, this championship promises an unforgettable experience.
