Monkton Milers Santa Dash 2026

Join us for the 7th annual Santa Dash on December 6, 2026, as we raise funds for Troon Men’s Shed. This festive run welcomes participants of all ages and abilities—whether you choose to run, walk, or even crawl, the event is about embracing the holiday spirit and having fun.
Children aged four and above are welcome, but those under eleven must be accompanied by a parent, guardian, or an adult designated by their parents at a 2:1 ratio (two adults for every child). The route takes you through Troon’s picturesque South Beach Esplanade, starting from the Sunken Garden. It's a flat and scenic course that loops along the esplanade before turning back towards the finish near the garden.
Registration opens promptly at 9:15 AM with all participants needing to be registered by 10:15 AM for an on-time start at 10:30 AM. Timing chips will be provided upon registration, and a chipped system ensures accurate results for everyone who takes part.
After the race, enjoy post-race amenities including water stations along the route and sweet treats at the finish line. All participants receive a medal to commemorate their effort and fun day out.
The event extends beyond just running with additional activities such as a tombola, raffle, and cake stall on site. Cash payments are preferred but card options will also be available for convenience.
Dress up in your favorite holiday costumes—think Santa Claus, Mrs. Claus, or elves—to add to the festive atmosphere along Troon’s promenade. Whether you’re there for the run itself or to support friends and family from the sidelines, this event promises a joyous celebration of community spirit and fun during the holiday season.
