The Second Act: A Night Run Under Starlit Skies Join us for the second installment of our Friday Night Happy Hour Series, set against the serene backdrop of Prince Edward County. This edition takes place at Sugarbush Vineyards, a picturesque location that offers runners an inviting and community-oriented trail run experience. Date & Location Friday, July 23rd, 2027 Sugarbush Vineyards 1286 Wilson Rd Hillier, Ontario K0K 2J0 Course Details The course spans approximately 6 kilometers of flat terrain, making it an ideal choice for a leisurely evening run. The gentle trail winds through the vineyard's lush landscape, providing runners with ample opportunities to enjoy the scenic beauty and peaceful ambiance. After completing your run, you'll have time to unwind by sampling some exquisite wines from Sugarbush Vineyards. This event is designed to be welcoming and informal, catering to both seasoned runners and beginners alike. Aid Stations & Facilities No aid stations will be available along the course; however, a washroom facility is provided on-site for your convenience. Water will be supplied at the start/finish line, but please bring your own reusable water bottles as we operate without disposable cups. Kit Pick Up and Registration Bib collection begins one hour prior to race time. On-the-day registration opens an hour before the event and costs $35. Timing & Awards Race timing will be conducted manually by our volunteers. There are no placement awards given out, but participants can enjoy camaraderie and support from fellow runners throughout their run. Cheating is discouraged as it undermines both personal integrity and the spirit of fair play. Refunds/Deferrals/Changes Unfortunately, there are no refunds available for any reason. If you cannot attend this event, your registration fee may be transferred to another Happy Hour race in our series at no additional cost. For those who complete all three races in our Friday Night Happy Hour Series, a special custom Dirty Soles medal and prize await at The Last Hour, the final installment of the season. This unique achievement acknowledges participants' dedication and commitment throughout the series. Established in 1823, it was named after Major George Hillier, British Army officer and military secretary to Sir Peregrine Maitland from 1818 to 1828. It is located on the Loyalist Parkway or Highway 33 and is roughly 30 minutes from Belleville, Ontario.
