Peach Festival 5K & 1-Mile Fun Walk

Mark your calendars for an evening of fun and fitness as the 46th Annual Peach Festival 5K Run and its brand-new 1-Mile Fun Walk option take place on Thursday, September 3, 2026. This long-standing event kicks off at Kiwanis Park in Lewiston, New York, where runners will start their journey along a newly paved bike path that runs alongside the scenic Niagara Scenic Parkway.
The race course offers stunning views and an easy-to-follow route with clear signage guiding participants to a turnaround point before heading back towards Kiwanis Park for the finish line. The 5K run is open to all ages, while the one-mile walk provides a relaxed option for those who want to enjoy the atmosphere without racing.
Registration fees are $30 for the 5K and $25 for the Fun Walk until July 31, with prices increasing slightly thereafter. Participants can register online up until race day or opt for in-person registration at Kiwanis Park from 5:30 PM on September 3rd ahead of the start time.
A new addition this year is a team challenge where groups can create unique names and invite friends to join them. Teams with five members will compete based on their top five runners' average times, with recognition for both fastest teams and largest teams at the awards ceremony.
Post-race festivities include snacks, refreshments, live music, and an award presentation in Kiwanis Park. The top male and female winners receive free peach shortcake coupons redeemable during the Peach Festival weekend, while age group winners also earn these delicious treats as well as trophies for their achievements.
