Pfalz-Double-Trail-Lab-Endurance

The Pfalz-Double-Trail-Lab Endurance Campingplatz-Wappenschmiede is an exciting endurance race that challenges runners to push their limits on scenic trails near Edenkoben. The day kicks off at 9:30 AM with a free training session focusing on stock technique, led by Leki. Participants can also test out the latest Trailrunning shoes from Nike during this warm-up period.
At 10:00 AM, runners start the Vertical Race, which features a challenging course of 2.5 kilometers and ascends approximately 345 meters in elevation. This race provides an opportunity to try out both poles and shoes directly on the competition trail before submitting your time at the finish line. The return trip back to the starting point is completed independently.
Following this initial test, participants will start the Endurance Race at 1:00 PM. Spanning a distance of 11 kilometers with about 350 meters in elevation gain, this race further tests runners' stamina and technical skills on varied terrain. Winners of both races are rewarded with a pair of Nike Trailrunning shoes.
The course is clearly marked to guide participants through the challenging yet scenic route. Duschen facilities will be available for use at an optional donation rate of €2 per shower. The venue also encourages voluntary contributions towards supporting Team NeckarCross, who organize this event. Refreshments including drinks, cakes, and flammkuchen (German pizza) are offered on-site for purchase.
The atmosphere is designed to foster fair play and sportsmanship among participants as they navigate the trails through Edenkoben's picturesque valley landscape. Participants should be mindful of traffic regulations when crossing roads during the race.
