Pfalz-Double-Trail-Lab-Vertical

The Pfalz-Double-Trail-Lab Endurance Campingplatz-Wappenschmiede is an exciting endurance race that invites runners to explore the scenic trails of Germany’s Palatinate region. On August 15, participants can enjoy a morning filled with trail running activities and gear testing.
Starting at 09:30 AM, attendees will have the opportunity to participate in a stock technique training session led by Leki instructors. This is followed by hands-on experience with Nike's latest trail-running shoes before the race begins.
The Vertical Race kicks off at 10:00 AM and challenges runners over a distance of 2.5 kilometers, climbing an impressive elevation gain of 345 meters. Upon reaching the finish line, times will be recorded and competitors can return to the start on their own.
In the afternoon, participants move onto the Endurance Race at 13:00 PM. This longer event covers a distance of approximately 11 kilometers with an elevation change of around 350 meters. The course is well-marked for easy navigation through varied terrain and scenic landscapes.
Winners of both races will receive a pair of Nike trail-running shoes as prizes, adding extra motivation to the competition. Dusche facilities are available on-site; runners can use these by making a voluntary donation of 2 euros per shower.
The event also offers a range of amenities for participants, including refreshments such as drinks, cakes, and flammkuchen (German pizza-like dish). Shady spots around the venue provide comfortable resting areas for those looking to relax between races or after completing their runs.
Competitors are reminded to adhere to road traffic regulations when crossing streets during the race in Edenkoenig Valley.
