Pulse 5K

On Saturday, August 22, 2026, Eastern Hills Wesleyan Church will host the second annual Pulse 5K, an exciting race that promises to energize participants and showcase local fitness initiatives. The event is set to begin at 10am in the church's parking lot, with a walk option of approximately 3 kilometers also available for those who prefer.
Participants can register online through credit card until race day or opt for paper registration on-site from 9am onwards if they wish to pay by cash or check. Early registrants—those signing up before August 12th at 9am—are guaranteed a complimentary race shirt in their preferred size, with limited extra shirts available on a first-come, first-served basis.
The Pulse Indoor Cycling studio will be offering free class gift certificates for all registered runners and walkers to enjoy throughout the year. The official course map is certified by USATF through BuffaloRunners.com and features one water station near its midpoint to ensure participants stay hydrated during their run or walk.
Post-race festivities include snacks, refreshments, and a celebration of everyone's achievements at the finish line in the church parking lot. Age group awards will be given out for both male and female runners across various categories from 14 years old up through seniors over 70. Overall champions will also receive special recognition.
