About the Event
The Guiyang Sky Mirror 100 returns for its 3rd edition September 12-13, starting and finishing at the north gate plaza of Qingyan Ancient Town, Huaxi District, Guiyang, Guizhou. Capacity is 3,500 across Sky Mirror 100K (TKZJ100), Cloud Highland 55K (YSGP55), Baizhuang-Qiantao 30K (BZQT30), Ancient Town Qingyan 1314 (GZQY1314), and a 520 category. Registration opens July 3 at 10:00, first-come first-served, with early-bird pricing through August 5. The 100K (600 runners, ~102.85km actual, 3,775m gain, ITRA ~4 points) starts 5:00 AM with a 28-hour cutoff; the 55K (800 runners, ~55.40km, 1,871m gain, ITRA ~2 points) starts 6:00 with a 14-hour cutoff; the 30K (1,000 runners, ~30.88km, 934m gain, ITRA ~1 point) starts 7:00 with a 9-hour cutoff; the 1314 (800 runners, ~12.22km, 266m gain) starts 8:00 with a 4-hour cutoff; the 520 (300 runners, ~4.50km, 123m gain) starts 8:30 with a 1.5-hour cutoff. A first-100K destination race: the course leaves Qingyan's 600-year-old cobblestone streets and threads Huaxi's mountains, waterways, and Long March-era heritage sites, climbing Qilong Mountain, Yunpan Slope, and Jianzi Slope up to the cloud-brushed meadows of Gaopo. Now in its third year, after a 2024 debut and 2,300 runners in 2025, the race returns with a more refined course past Hongyan Creek valley, the Shimen viewpoint, the Long March National Cultural Park, and Miao villages, at a cool, comfortable 23°C.
